ABOUT ME

Doctor Kenneth J. Aveirls, Sr., (Dr. Ken) is an Ordained Itinerant Elder in the African Methodist Episcopal Church.  Dr. Ken is a "Seasoned Pastor", as he has labored in God's vineyard as a Pastor for eighteen (18) years.  He has pastored in the Sixth Episcopal District, in both the Atlanta-North Georgia Conference (where he is currently assigned), and the Macon Conference.  His past assignments were:  The Culoden Circuit (St Phillip AME Church, Culloden, Georgia and Greenville AME Church, Forsyth, Georgia), Saint Paul AME Church, Stone Mountain, Georgia, Mount Zion AME Church, Jackson, Georgia, Fairfield AME Church, Jackson, Georgia and Fidelity AME Church, Atlanta, Georgia.  Dr. Ken holds a B.S. in Computer Information Systems, an M.B.A. with a concentration in Information Management, a Masters of Divinity (M.Div), a Masters in Biblical Studies, and a Doctorate in Theology.  

 

Dr. Ken has appeared on TV - WATC-TV57, "Atlana Live" twice.  Recently, to discuss the upcoming "Teleconference" "C'mon Men 2014", his book "Break Every Chain", which will be released in August 2014.  In 2013 on WATC-TV57, he discussed the book "The Battle's Not Yours:  Devotional on Spiritual Warfare".

 

Rev. Ken is the Radio Host of the broadcast "Take Thou Authority", WAEC-AM Love 860, every Tuesday from 11:00 am to 12:00 pm.

 

Rev. Ken is married to Katrina Stafford Aveirls.  They have three lovely children, Ken II, Deanna and Vashti, as well as two grandchildren, Joshua and Annalie  Presently, they reside in Lithonia, GA.
